March 19th, 2013A Memorable Celebration- A Tupelo, MS Wedding
March 19th, 2013While this wedding happened last year, I wanted to be sure and share images from Hunter and Zack’s wedding at First Presbyterian Church in Tupelo, MS. Â I will long cherish the time spent with this family and the photographs captured-especially of Hunter and her dad, Mr. Hank.
Enjoy.

Lyndsey and Eames- Vicksburg Wedding Photographer
March 2nd, 2013You may have seen this BEAUTY from our ad this year in Mississippi Magazine. Thank you, Lyndsey Freeny for letting me get a little creative during your bridal session! There is so much I loved about this wedding-first and foremost I gained lifelong friends in this family and it was my first bridal brunch that I was invited to participate sins a camera. I also loved the historic Vicksburg, MS location, the awesome bride and groom, the very fun wedding party, and I could go on and on but I think I’ll let the images speak the rest for me. Ceremony: Crawford Street UMC; Reception: B’nai B’rith Literary Club (BB CLUB); Caterer: Storycook Favorites; Dress: Imaginations Bridal; Flowers: The Ivy Place; Planner: Stella and Company.

Seniority
November 29th, 2012Let The Senior Photos Begin, Senior Portrait Photographer
September 11th, 2012Meet Maggie! Isn’t she adorable? Maggie was our first senior of the year, and I remembered yesterday while shooting how much I enjoy getting to spend time with young people and photographing them at this amazing time in their life. Maggie humored me while we tried new locations, new poses, new lighting techniques. All I can say is that we had a blast!
Paige and Page- Oxford, MS Wedding Photographers
September 11th, 2012That’s right. Meet our bride & groom-Paige and Page. To avoid confusion, Paige with an “i” came up with the idea for us to refer to her as “Lady Paige”. And…it worked. And…it fit.  Though they currently live in Seattle, The Lady Paige and her beloved were married at the family home and Italianate mansion called Ammadelle that was designed by Calvert Vaux. (You might recognize him from helping to design Central Park.) Ammadelle was further enhanced by the work of David Naron over at Oxford Floral. Lady Paige also brought in some very special people near and dear to her from the NYC to help with hair and make-up. Hair: Menelaos Alevras; Make-up: Jun Funahashi. It was probably the most humid weekend of the year, but it didn’t stop her fun (and very fashionable) guests with the best shoes ever (see photo below) from having a great time.

Lauren and Josh
July 3rd, 2012At the end of April, we had the privilege of photographing Lauren and Josh’s wedding at Oak Grove Chapel in New Albany. Everything about the day was so beautiful- the weather, the bride and groom, their families, the flowers (Pontotoc Floral), and the sweet songs of worship sang during the reception by Cody Hickman and his crew. Lauren looked so amazing in her gown. Josh is in the Marine Corps, and he looked so handsome in his Dress Blues Uniform. And, speaking of the Marine Corps, as this post goes up on our Independence Day week, I’d like to give a shout-out to those who serve our country as well as those special people that lend their spouses to serve us all. Happy 4th of July, Everyone!
Catherine Ann and Parker
May 11th, 2012Well, it’s about time for another blog post….and what a better way to kick off than with Catherine Ann and Parker Davis’ lovely engagement session and wedding. Their wedding has been featured on the Wedding Post of Mississippi and will be in an upcoming edition of Town & Gown. An artist and visionary, Catherine Ann styled her engagement session. What a fun afternoon at the family cabin last fall. And then, there came the wedding! And out came Catherine Ann’s signature color of RED! Check out the awesome very personal reception items that she handcrafted herself. And, just in case you’re wondering, I’m pretty sure you too can have a graphic to go behind your wedding cake. Check out Catherine Ann’s design site here! A long overdue congrats to Parker and Catherine Ann.
